Groep UBL-DT bevat 24 EN 16931-regels die elementen van de UBL 2.1-syntax verbieden of beperken die het Europese semantische model niet gebruikt. Het zijn waarschuwingen: de factuur wordt geaccepteerd, maar het element moet worden verwijderd omdat ontvangende systemen het kunnen negeren of weigeren.
