Le groupe UBL-DT contient 24 règles EN 16931 qui interdisent ou restreignent des éléments de la syntaxe UBL 2.1 que le modèle sémantique européen n'utilise pas. Ce sont des avertissements : la facture est acceptée, mais l'élément devrait être retiré car les systèmes destinataires peuvent l'ignorer ou le rejeter.
